Many of the San Bernardino Group members have writen articles, created videos and made oral and poster presentations at local, regional, national and international conferences on HRO, risk management, safety in high-risk occupations, developing healthy safety cultures in learning organizations, obstructions and impediments to HRO, and much more.
Our inter-industry group has worked with well-published HRO researchers. Many have authored books in addition to papers as the recognized authorities in the HRO field. Another has created a Risk Mitigation Model. Many researchers and practitioners have come to understand that other models are often built upon some of the HRO principles.
Each member is in many ways a leader of pratical HRO implementation in their own high-risk industry and is often actively involved with the design and development of HRO education and training programs, supported by the creation of HRO Case Studies, collecting HRO stories, quotes and sayings.
